Digital Learning Program

As we sail through the 21st century, technology in the classroom is becoming more and more predominant. Social media has become commonplace, and the way we use technology has completely transformed the way we live. Educators, too, have seen firsthand the benefits of technology in the classroom. Educators also recognize the importance of developing these technological skills in students so they will be prepared to enter the workforce once they complete their schooling. Technology makes learning more interesting and fun. Keeping these in mind we have introduced a digital learning program in our school with students from Kindergarten and Grade 1. Students are given their own tablet and headphone and learn English, Maths and Urdu through specially designed applications. These applications have been developed by FootSteps to Brilliance. The students were pretested by the Notredam Institute and the students progress will be measured after 3 months and 6 months. While we believe that integrating technology into the classroom has its benefits, it’s important to note that we are using them as an addition to our Sindh Board Curriculum as we believe that traditional learning processes are just as essential]]>
